Some days ago I decided to collect some data and write kind of OpenZaurus FAQ. It will be posted on OZ website but with comments disabled. Some parts of text will be probably the same as the one already existing docs so I will first add some links to external docs. But as many of you know most of Zaurus docs are SharpROM related (especially 5500/5000 infos) and are not always right for OZ (they can work partially anyway).
Currently I have 2 first entries:
- How to get own question on that list?
Search for author and then search for method of contact. Then send question and answer.
- How to get answer to own question?
Use Search option here or on OESF forums. Don’t ask before searching.
Why another FAQ? I'm tired of watching the same questions asked again and again and again (and again) by someone who does not understand what for "
search" option is.
I'm tired of 5 threads about "collie r21 kernel behavior" or 15 threads about "how to get connect+ wifi/storage card working under <any distro>". I can understand that user does not have to be developer to get it working without asking for help - but
why not
search for help first?
