Changing memory and storage ratio ?
« on: August 31, 2003, 09:53:08 pm »
maybe this is a too lame question, but here it goes anyway:

I just installed theKompany rom, but it leave me with 32 megs of memory and 32 megs of internal storage... but then ... I would LOVE to change that RATIO as I HAVE a SD card with 256 megs

Any hint on that ?

regards,

Enrique.

you can setup a swapfile in the internal storage.  the zaurus faq has the instructions.  Look in the area about memory cards.  The instructions are for memory cards, but you can easily change it to /home/root

There is also a memory app that will make up to an 8mb swapfile for you.  It is gui based (point and click).
