Im located in Oz (Australia) and search around for awhile but cant find a decent online store or local that sells the USB host cable.

if you are in sydney, there is a hardware store (yes, hardware store, not computer store) on pitts street that sells them cheaply. can't remember the name though since i am currently in melbourne so i cannot check the receipt for the store name. also, most shops like harris technology, officeworks, harvey normans now sell the goldx 5-in-1 cable.

Yep I already know where to the a "Lazer Gold 5 n 1" USB combo set for $20.  Pretty much the same thing from pictures I've seen.
