Pdaxrom + Linux 2.6
« on: February 03, 2006, 04:28:15 am »
I enquired about Linux 2.6's support for the Cxx00 hardware on the OZ forum recently and I was told that suspend works now as does ALSA sound, touchscreen and keyboard- it sounds as if Zaurus support in 2.6 is pretty much upon us!

Has anybody tried integrating a 2.6 kernel with pdaxrom recently? What needs to be done before we see 2.6 in pdaxrom? Is Z USB working in 2.6 yet?

sash is thinking to update to the latest 2.4.x kernel.

As he is not very found of the 2.6 (and I supposed as the x driver would need to be rewritten among other things) I don't expect him to work on 2.6 anytime soon

2.6 is working great with the latest testing OZ/gpe. (I admit I haven't tested sou and usb)

couldnt you just upgrade to the lastest version of x.org then output to the frame buffer using the x.org frame buffer driver?
