Suspend Problem On Poodle With 3.5.4
« on: February 08, 2006, 01:12:33 pm »
I just installed the test2 image from Hrw and apm keept hanging up on me. So I decided to remove apm and apmd and re-installed them. In the process I also removed opie-alarm. It seems that the crashes during suspend are being caused by some interaction between apm and opie-alarm. I have added a comment to bug # 54 on the openembedded bug tracker. But at least we now have a bit more of a clue as to where to look for the problem.

I just also removed opie-alarm in the hopes that that will stop the crashes. What version of apm/apmd do you have installed?

And you mentioned test2. I've signed up for the testing & I am running test-1 but hadn't heard that test-2 was available. Same place to get it?

thks

Yes. The directory now has a old-test1 and a new-test2 directory. Happy flashing

Check out the openzaurus-devel mailling list. That's where the bugs are being discussed. You can check out the archives on [a href=\"http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.handhelds.openzaurus.devel]gmane[/url] & subscribe here (which I'd highly recommend).

OPIE, on GPE it suspends and wakes up without any problem.
