C3100 And Debian
« on: February 23, 2006, 02:53:14 pm »
I used the infos from http://www.eleves.ens.fr/home/leurent/zaurus.html to install Debian on my C3100 ( i've installed on internal hard drive)

I modified my Vncserver according to the instruction but when i try to

start Vncserver i receive :

rm: cannot remove /tmp/.X1-lock Operation not permitted

Fatal server error:
Colud not create server lock file: /tmp/.X1-lock

Any helps ???
Gabriele

I had similar problems but never found a solution. I would love to know how to start the VNC session. I will be trying again later.

fbvnc and X/Qt, had it running on both of them at one time or another, although the chroot config was faster but needed more tweaks to run correctly(btw had xfce4 running and not icewm)
