My regret is leaving the oz/gpe for the moment and ill reflash again when your latest builds come up since my medical software can't work on it and i need it for school. Ill probably buy another zaurus or run it on my sl-5500. But when i was recreating the partitions on the hdc1 hdc2 hdc3, I did not realize i did something horrible on my part. anyway, my backups couldnt work on my zaurus since it was creating backups 2006-05-31-01-46.backup_SLC3200-JP-unknown and the unknown part was the problem. The original stuff should look like 2006-05-31-01-46.backup_SLC3200-JP-1 and the 1 was what made the difference. Not sure how i got it working but I suspect it had alot to do with restoring the internal disk drive to factory defaults.
anyway, Got it working again and waiting for your next release.
GPE is looking good.
any comments welcome as i could not find any information about the unknown backup restore file that it was spitting out.
