High Cpu On C700
« on: August 20, 2006, 09:10:02 pm »
Hey Guys,

I have noticed that the CPU on my c700 stays at around 80-90%..

Is this common? This is idle with nothing going on?

if you look at the processes, using something like top, you'll notice a task called something like idle, that takes most of the time.

This task takes the idle time, so your unit seems to always be at 100%, but the idle task doesn't do anything.

Thanks for the post. Looks like it's a necessary evil of the 2.4 kernel/ ROM I have.

Now I just need to figure out if my 2GB SD will work with my C700

Cheers,
