Vlc How-to?
« on: November 06, 2005, 07:49:34 am »
Wondering if anyone can help out - I installed VLC from the rc12 7x0/860 feed, but I can't figure out if it has a GUI. I can only launch it from the command line (plus it doesn't work very well - frames dropped etc. - but that's a whole other question).

Does VLC have a graphical interface?

Thx.

I'm wondering the same thing.

The problem here is that last time I installed vlc under exactly the same pdaXrom version it DID have a gui, but this time it is only working as a console app- I think. I'm on a fresh install here as vlc is the first additional app I've put on. I know wxwidgets got installed at the same time I put vlc but maybe another library needs to be installed for the gui to work?
