another "what\'s the best rom" question
« on: March 11, 2004, 12:08:54 am »
I just got a C750 with a ROM that is not fully converted to English.  What really bites is that I also picked up an Ambicom WL1100C 802.11b card, but the network application only displays square characters.

So, I\'m going to need to get a new ROM.  I definitely want to keep my Hancom Office and I want to have a multimedia player(s) and a decent browser.  I intend to connect this to a Mac running OS X.3 and I will be using the Ambicom WiFi adapter and a Socket Bluetooth adapter.  I want to use the BT adapter with my SE T610.

What would be the best ROM for my needs?  Sounds like Cacko and tkcROM are among the most popular.

Thanks,
Curt

I\'d recommend Cacko 1.20. I haven\'t used tkcROM, but this version
of Cacko has pretty much everything I had hoped. My WiFi works
(Symbol card), Hancom apps work, havent tried bluetooth though.
C760, Symbol CF WiFi, Lexar 1GB SD, score of CFs
Currently running pdaXrom.
