Cacko And Planex Gw-cf11h - Can I Use It?
« on: June 09, 2007, 04:07:05 pm »
Hey all me again

I rememeber finding a thread before I actually got my Zaurus regarding my wireless card - Planex GW-CF11H - and Cacko, and the method required to get it to work. I saved it to my favorites but after switching between windows and linux and reformatting I seem to have lost it

Before I dig through every thread on these bords does anyone know how I can get this card working on my Zaurus with Cacko 1.23 FULL? Currently when I click the card icon in the bottom right it says "Eject card 0: unsupported card"?

*** EDIT : FIXED *** SEE POST BELOW

Hey guys I managed to find the answer in here and with the help of google. Basically if your planex CF-GW11H isn't working just edit the file:

/etc/pcmcia/hostap_cs.conf

And add the following lines:

card "PLANEX GW-CF11H Wireless CF Card"
version "PLANEX COMMUNICATIONS INC.", "PLANEX GW-CF11H Wireless CF Card", ""
manfid 0xd601, 0x0005
bind "hostap_cs"
