using mplayer on the Zaurus

I downloaded mplayer from the downloads section here, so I could play ogg files.  The problem is that is it command-line run, and I\"m not much of an expert with UNIX.  

I\'m getting an error that, I think, stems from not having the write codecs.  Does anyone know anything about this program and how I can get it running?

mplayer is a video player. I\'m not sure if it can play standalone oggs. Search the FAQ on this site for \'Ogg\' using the Advanced Search on the left.
