SL-5600: Is there a 64 meg limit for Secure Digital card.
« on: March 14, 2004, 03:31:52 pm »
I haven\'t received the Zaurus yet, but some guys offering accessory lists at Amazon have claimed that the maximum compatible size for Secure Digital cards is 64 megs.  I\'m an utter newbie, so please shed some light (before I spend again!).

Hello to everyone here at ZUG forums.  I\'m green but I\'ll ripen.

I had a 64 mb sd card fat 16 which worked fine for everything
I upgraded to a 256 mb one from japan no idea what make as its covered in japanese... and formatted it to ext2 everything worked (once i sorted out all of the ownership issues) apart from Voice Recorder which kept complaining \"Unable to create recording file\" when i pointed it to the sd card.  Fixed this by creating a symlink from the internal memory to the sd card.

Sweet!  It seemed a pity to be stuck with 64 megs.  Thanks everyone.
