802.11b CF card problems
« on: April 23, 2004, 10:54:41 pm »
I recently purchased an SL-C750, along with a Senao 802.11b CF card, and while the Zaurus seems to work perfectly (albeit with a few annoying untranslated sections, although I\'m planning on installing OpenZaurus to fix that) I can\'t get it to detect the wi-fi card.  I put it in the slot and absolutely nothing happens.  The light doesn\'t come on, the Zaurus doesn\'t make any attempt to detect it, nothing.  I\'ve done a bit of checking around, and from what I gather the card should just work out of the box, but I might be mistaken on that.  Is there anything I can do to get my network card working, or might I have purchased a defective card?

I also bought a 128MB SanDisk CF memory card, and it gets detected pretty much instantly, so I don\'t think there\'s a problem with my slot.
