It literally makes no difference.  CF and PCMCIA are electrically identical so there\'s no electronic components in the adapter.  Its just pins to pins.  (that\'s also why they\'re so cheap)

Why are CF-PCMCIA adaptors so few and far between then? (so I could plug a PCMCIA card into my Z that is).

He seems to be right... Here\'s one for $20 new!

Holy damn, insert pcmcia usb card here! Add your own powered hub, and away you go. How hard is it to bring standard linux drivers into Qtopia?
Gorgeous C860, 256 Sandisk SD, 1Gig Pretec 40x CF, PDAIR leather case & the really cool retractable iPDA USB sync/charge cable. Powered by PDAXROM BETA 1.

My wish - to have a Command & Conquer style game on my Z! (FREECNC!!!) Simcity 2000 would also be great.
