Cheap stand for the Z
« on: May 10, 2004, 06:22:45 pm »
Well here I was at work this morning trying out any USB devices I could with the cable I jsut recieved, tried an optical mouse. It sees that it\'s an optical mouse in System Info, and powers it but of course the OS doesn\'t use a cursor so it does nothing. Also tried an Apple USB keyboard and it worked without any tinkering. Also, funny thing, some of the keys (like eject) map to functions on the Z. The eject in particular controls the backlight.

Anyway, as I\'m typing on the Z wiht 1 hand, holding it with the other, a co-worker of mine found this page with a way to fold a buisness card into a little stand so figured I\'d share it with folks just in case you\'re wondering

I tried that out today on my 5000D, works pretty well too.  I just modified the flap that supposed to fit between the clamshells parts to be a strip that fits just inside the sd card slot under my sd card.  Thanks for the link.
