MEDIA PLAYER HELP
« on: May 30, 2004, 05:43:46 pm »
I installed opie for sharp media player on my Z and it did not work so I uninstalled it. The problem is that now my media player does not work at all and even when I use the command line it doesn\'t work. Any suggestions ?

The opie version probably removed the links to the Sharp one.

You will need to redo the links.
Code: [Select]
cd /home/QtPalmtop/bin

ln -s /usr/QtPalmtop.bin/bin/musicplayer ./

On my machine (C760) I only got musicplayer and movieplayer, while the Cacko rom adds mpegplayer from the 6000L. Just change the name of the app above to create the correct link

It\'d be better if you did a back up and then you could\'ve just restored it
