Hancom Sheet Problems
« on: August 08, 2004, 06:17:18 pm »
Anyone noticed that opening a spreadsheet of any size is nearly impossible in Hancom Sheet?

My system shows ~29Mb of free System RAM free, and I have a 64Mb swap file on SD to help out but still a 475Kb spreadsheet will not open, or at least it didn't open in the 10 minutes I allowed it before giving up and killing the process. Ridiculous!

Do you want to destroy your SD card?

Acceptable loss. I have to be able to open and use large files. By the time this one gives out they'll only cost half what I paid for it. Besides, I'm not sure that it will wear out. The jury seems to still be out on that one. At one time Sandisk was guaranteeing their cards for 10 million read/write cycles, or life whichever came first. I'm not a gamer so I think the 10 million cycles will not occur in my lifetime. Of course it's a Lexar, not a Sandisk...
