c750 using opera can't get proxys to work

using opera 7.3 loaded patch so it would work on my c 750 . but it will not work behind a proxy server. the broswer that came with c 750  netfront , works .
is there a patch to fix this issue.
or is there a patch so netfront will read pages with java and flash .

It may be the same problem I have.

it should have

Proxies.conf

which will have a type= setting, typically this is set to 1.  For some reason, Opera needs type=2.  I maintain a shadow file and copy it over Proxies.conf.  Otherwise you can just edit it - It is usually the last entry in the file.

I think you need to edit this file BEFORE launching Opera.  I don't know when it is overwritten.
