What do you mean by Opie. Will Opie be able to sync with Lotus Notes? How?

NotesSync will work with it now, as long as the pims you are using are xml format.

A number of users are successfully doing it, I just didn\'t have the time (nor spare Zaurus) to develop for it and the Sharp DTM.   I just got the 3.35 version and plan to take my 3.10 test Zaraus to it this weekend if the Zaurus
is really dead for consumers.

well it looks like it will be opie for my zaurus.
Glad I didn\'t  spend too much time re-writing notessync, it would be for nothing.
I\'ll just make it work with opie
Okay, don\'t tell me I\'ve been waiting all this time for 2.0 of NotesSync, and now I need to put Opie on my Z....

How would you like to see a couple of hundred hours of work shot?
Actually I stopped work on v2 last month when I found IBM has a module for  Websphere Everyplace that uses SyncXML to sync the zaurus to Lotus DOmino or Exchange. AccessClient loads SyncXML, DB2 and PIM interface on the Zaurus.  I just need a spare server for Websphere Everyplace to test it out.

That kills the enterprise market and now Sharp kills the consumer market.

Everyplace syncs directly with the server but the server has to be available on the internet or else you need a VPN client on the Z also. Can these PIMs work on the X11 ROM?

Websphere Everyplace will work with it if  the PIMS use the same XML format for the data. It hasn\'t been updated to use the Sharp DTM yet.

I\'ve loaded it on the 2.3x Rom.

IBM direction is to have everything web server based for enterprise use. Just like the old 3270 terminal days.

Okay, so now I\'m confused.  Is there a product to sync with Lotus Notes for the 5600, or do I need to load Opie or OZ on my 5600 to sync?  That\'s really all I\'m waiting for is a Notes Sync (pardon the pun) application for my 5600, and then I can ditch my Palm V.

Split from \"Everything Zaurus ]] General Discussion ]] spencer gone. devnet gone too?\" for great justice.  Please keep forums on-topic.  Thanks!
