Anyone have Gaim running on Sharp Rom?

Currently I\'m using an English translated version of the original Sharp ROM on my C860.   I would like to get a chat programming running.

Has anyone gotten Gaim to work on the Sharp ROM or know of any other chat client that works well on the Sharp ROM?

I just recently got it running on my SL5600 with the standard Sharp ROM.  Below is a link to a thread that talks about working through some install problems with Gaim.  One of the replies talks about a symlink that needs to be done in order to get the icons to appear on the buttons within Gaim.
