Is there a way to launch an app from the commandline and have it run in QVGA mode? When you check the little box to magnify after tapping and holding an icon, what exactly happens? Qtopia seems really flakey about this. Sometimes nothing short of a reboot will change an app\'s magnification setting.
I examined the .desktop files and they are no different when the box is checked/unchecked. environment also appears unchanged.
The reason i want to do this is so I do not have to write a shell script and a .desktop file for every single genesis ROM I own in order to get them to run fullscreen.
I noticed that it definitely depends on what it on the Exec= line. If i put Exec=whatever and check magnify, running whatever from the terminal also makes it start magnified.
