Folks... would you _please_ start looking into OE. It's dead simple, a child can do that...

I added your streamripper package in 3 minutes and 2 of those minutes took googling for the package...

For reference:
Code: [Select]
DESCRIPTION = "StreamRipper lets you record streaming mp3 to your hard drive."
SECTION = "console/multimedia"
LICENSE = "GPL"

SRC_URI = "${SOURCEFORGE_MIRROR}/streamripper/streamripper-${PV}.tar.gz"

inherit autotools

LMAO.
i popped over here because when i saw mickeyl on the last post in this topic I was sure he had said "you can."  I wasn't far off. It is, however quite true. while my skills are not what they should be, and OE doesn't build a stable OZ yet, the OE team has built an incredible tool, and we should really learn how to use it.

Although it's labelled as an unstable release, I've not had any problems with 3.5.2...
