More C3000 USB Host test pics from Conics.net:
link
These pics confirm that a USB hub will work with the C3000

Bad News - The Conics USB Host test pics have been updated with text that says "Although USB devices test ok in the service menus, there is no support in the Sharp ROM yet"

The USB receptacle on the back of the C3000 is a Mini-AB port. It can accept either a USB Mini-A or Mini-B plug. Which plug is connected to which device determines the role of each device (host or slave). Download the OTG Supplement (See OTG_0a.pdf) to learn all you would ever want to know (and then some) about the USB OTG spec. See sections 3.8-3.11 and 4.5 for connector and adapter info, and section 4.6 for plug and receptacle diagrams.
