Openzaurus And Sftp

Hello from Catalonia!

I'm using OpenZaurus 3.5.1 and i want to connect with a Debain, I have connect to my desktop with ssh without problems:
In a shell:
#ssh 192.168.129.201 [without password]
But when i want to transfer files with sftp i can't. If the OZ have a ssh-server they have installed a sftp server too...or not  

When I try to connect with a sftp with a user root they ask me a password, taht i don't have passoword for a root user, and they tell me 'invalid password'

What I have to do it to sync files with sftp??

OZ 3.5.1 ships with a very small ssh server called "dropbear".
Dropbear doesn't have a sftp server but you can install the openssh sftp-server from the upgrade feed.

Ok, but how i caan install it, i downlad the openssh-sftp...ipk but when i try to intsall it with 'ipkg install' command...it doesn't works.

with de PackageManager dons't work too.

do yoy know a manual that explain how to install upgrades of OZ. Thaks

I know this is not the answer you are looking for, but if you are desperate, you can scp onto your zaurus with the default install of dropbear on 3.5.1. If you don't know scp, you can 'man scp' on a box with man pages. You'll want to tar multiple files, too, probably.

I've given up on doing sftp with 3.5.1 and instead, I use ftp:

ftp root@zaurus 4242

You have to adjust Settings > Security > Sync first and the Zaurus will pop a confirmation dialog each time you want to open a connection, but I can live with that.
