Have set up a new connection profile in the Network settings panel. Details...
- Dial-up (Bluetooth)
- Username/Password [set to my login details]
- Phone: empty
- BT device: /dev/rfcomm2 (also tried /dev/rfcomm0)
- Init string: ATX (also tried leaving empty)
- BT DUN: (DUN of PC's Bluetooth adapter)
- Everything else left as default
Is anything missing from these settings? At present, I get:
Dec 31 00:00:08 [hcid] link_key_request (sba=00:0B:0D:40:14:0D, dba=00:40:05:D4:AB:4A)_
Dec 31 00:00:09 [dund] New connection from 00:40:05:D4:AB:4A
Dec 31 00:00:09 [pppd] pppd 2.4.2 started by root, uid 0
Dec 31 00:00:09 [pppd] Using interface ppp0
Dec 31 00:00:09 [pppd] Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/bluetooth/rfcomm/0
Dec 31 00:00:39 [pppd] LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests_
Dec 31 00:00:39 [pppd] Connection terminated.
Dec 31 00:00:40 [pppd] Exit.
I assume that this timeout is the problem, so perhaps my init string is wrong? I'm willing to assume that the dund service on the PC is set up correctly, as it was working with my previous PDA which also connected to the PC via Bluetooth, and had no issues.
