Ipkg-link Doesn't Find /card/.../.list ??
« on: December 28, 2004, 09:35:17 am »
All,

ipkg-link can't find the /card/.../.list file. This worked just after the flash and diring the install of opera. The packages seem to work fine. I just rebooted and they all seem to be available however the .list file is missing. This means commands such a ipkg-link umount do not work.

This file is still empty. Is there a way to 'rebuild' it? The really interesting thing is the packages survice accross a reboot. This is really strange. How do they get restored accross a reboot if the master list is missing?

Thanks,
Dan

Are you looking in the /mnt/card/usr/lib/ipkg/info ???
The /mnt/card/usr/lib/lists is empty for me too and ipkg-link works fine.

Hope that helps.

Thank you,

Both:

/mnt/card/usr/lib/ipkg/lists
and
/mnt/card/usr/lib/ipkg/info

are empty. As a result ipkg-link does not work. I have no idea how they were corrupted. Is there a way to rebuild them? Can I just relink the packages?

Thanks,
Dan
