Hi, I\'m french, so first excuse my bad english
I\'ll try to do my best to explain my problem...

I have a Zaurus SL5500 and try to upgrade it with a connection to internet and with : ipkg upgrade.
First, I put : http://opie.handhelds.org/feed/openzaurus/latest/
It was OK, no problem... then I try to install the unstable version with :
http://opie.handhelds.org/feed/openzaurus/unstable/
It crash so, i try to install the package with -force-depends, -dorce-reinstall etc... I do a lot of thing, i don\'t remind me so... But, yet, when i start my zaurus, it goes to console mode, so, i can login with root, but I don\'t manage to start opie in graphical mode.
Then i try another feed :
http://www.openzaurus.org/official/unstabl...500+SL5000/ipks
It is the same problem, it upgrade a lot of package and then when I restart, it goes in console mode.

I see another post who speak about this problem but I don\'t understand all the think...

Can someone please help me ??

Thank you very much...

To start opie you want to run:

/etc/init.d/opie start

This will either work or not, and it may produce some useful output which you can use to diagnose your problem. If there\'s no useful output, look inside the /etc/init.d/opie script and try running the bits one by one to see what happens.
