How To Do With Qtmail And Pim Data?
« on: February 22, 2005, 08:04:20 am »
Hi there,

Recently I have been interested in trying out pdaXrom.  And I wonder if there is any solution to carry over the Qtmail data (mails, mailboxes, etc) and PIM data of Sharp rom to pdaXrom.  Thanks a lot!

Not sure about a solution for Mailbox and Notes (other than paste notes into txt files) but you should think about trying KaPI and KoPI, search for some threads and take a look at www.pi-sync.net
The KaPI and KoPI components are standard on PDAXROM for Calendaring and Contacts and there are ways of syncing against the DTM database on the Z when using the Qtopia versions of these apps.

Basically install the Qtopia versions, sync the databases against DTM, copy the databases off, install PDAXROM and import the databases produced by the Qtopia version of the apps to the X11 versions which are on PDAXROM.
