I was at linux world boston this year and there were alot of interesting exhibits to see. but very important aspect of linux wasn't there, pda's. There was one stand with a little bit of embedded hardware that supported linux, but nothing that made it shine or let people know something like pdaXrom exists. I don't know where everyone on this list is from, but Linuxworld NY is coming in a few months.
Does anyone else think pdaXrom should make an appearance at LinuxWorld?
If anyone else has an interest, I would be very happy to spend a few days hacking the distro with some other ppl in person, and promoting this distro so people can see what is out there. I know the people who saw me with my C860 at the time were amazed by it.
I look forward to seeing what other people think, and especially the core developers, as there support would be important, even if some or all of them couldn't attend. If this idea takes off I'd be willing and able to make it up there from central PA to help run a stand.
