how to use "install packages via networks" on tkc

I can\'t quite get this to work.  I am doing the following.

select software icon in settings tab on the os
select install packages via networks
double click package from list to see detail
press install button

now
if I select OK - it just drops back to the os
if I select upgrade it runs something from 0 to 100 percent then nothing

in either case the package is not installed.

I must be missing something.

It\'s a bug in the sharp rom, the tkc rom being based on the sharp rom also has the bug.
