Mutt And Locale
« on: March 01, 2005, 04:50:16 am »
Hi

I've compiled mutt, and as i'm french i use accented characters but the mutt pager do not print them
because $LANG always report C which is apparently us-ascii.
I can use ISO-8859-1 charset with terminal (aterm, xterm, mrxvt, etc...), vim but not mutt pager.

How to set $LANG for other than C ?
xfree430-addon is installed on my SL-C860 with RC9.

same problem here
xfree430-addon does't solve my problem.

I can use a compose-key to get accents in fltdj-ut8, but when i try to use compose-key in aterm, i got "Cannot set locale".
I've tried fr_FR and iso8859-1 for $LANG and $LC_ALL with no succes.

I would like to use mutt too!
