Do You Want These Apps?
« on: March 01, 2005, 05:02:30 am »
Hi,

I've compiled these apps:

mutt 1.5.8i
getmail 4.2.0
procmail 3.22
msmtp 1.3.6
mrxvt 0.3.13
zsh 4.2.3
abook 0.5.3
aspell 0.60 (Which dictionary do you want? I use only French)
lua 5.0.2
ion 3ds-20050116 but need modified binding as the standard one aren't Zaurus friendly

I can distribute them on my website or on the unstable pdaxrom feed.

I only need to learn how to make ipk.

I've also compiled and packaged up mrxvt, amongst other things.  I've asked Laze for a dev account a couple of times but he still hasn't given me one yet, so I can't upload my ipks just yet.

Scott, let us know when you have mrxvt in your feed (and where   you have quite a laberynth of feeds). The version I'm using doesn't seem to have transparency enabled.
Thanks danr & Scott!

Making an ipk is easy just look at the sdk tutorial on the pdaxrom site.
Remember to strip the binaries.

Try to mail  or pm laze with a username/password if you really can't get one pm
me so that we can do something (either I'll upload the ipk or give you my username)

mrxvt is also in the "japanese feed"
SLC-860 cacko / senao wifi

You can download them (not all for now) here:
My rc9 feed

Other to follow.

scoutme: howto install getmail (you need python-distutils)
download getmail from the official website, put it somewhere on your z, tar xvfz getmail-x.x.x.tar.gz
cd getmail-x.x.x python setup.py install .

I don't know how to make ipk for python apps, sorry.

Jerry -- I know.... I'm torn between trying to clean them up and breaking links, or to just leave
them in the current mess that they're in.  :-<

Any thoughts (anyone)?

armonix - how did you compile mutt? Did you x-compile or compile on the Z? Could you post your configure script and any pointers please. I want to compile it with various patches applied but I am having difficulties. Thanks a ton in advance.
