Use -force-depends in this case - it may be that the diet-x11 lib is named differently (different minor version or something), or perhaps the apps in question were built against a slightly later build of x11/diet-x11.
In any case, it shouldn't make any difference, just force it.

Oh, it does. I ve already done that (installing with force-depends), after mounting cf with sylpheed and log out/log in I get the icon, when tabbing a black square pops up - and remains black.
When installing Thunderbird I get the message that something from tmp/sdgdjhds is a directory and another failure report - Thundebird cannot be configured.
Any help?
