Usb Tcp/ip To Rom 3.13
« on: June 14, 2005, 01:18:44 pm »
I'd like to be able to network my Z via USB. I'm running the 3.13 ROM, with the appropriate version of Zaurus Manager, and I thought all the drivers were installed to my Win XP box, including the USB network adapter. However, System > Hardware > Network adapters (in Control panel) only shows me my Ethernet card.

XP's native SP2 firewall is upand running, could that be it? When I had the OZ 3.5.3 on the Z, and Qtopia 1.7 on the PC, I could see the SL adapter in device manager ... I just could not use it.

okay, update on this. I was finally able to figure out how to see and enable the USB TCP/IP device manager, and it now syncs through it.

Now to figure out how to set up the network connection this way ...
