Hi!

For 30 Euro, I could build batteries with 1800mAh, too.
And the pins are not copper anymore, but gold / silver.

Hi!

What are you willing to pay for a Battery with about 3000mAh?

Regards, Ludwig
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=84661\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

- I tossed out 30 Euro.  (hopeful smile)  Really, I've no idea what a 3000+ maH battery costs.  I could scour the web and find out, but I was sort of hoping you'd toss out a number, Lauter, and We The OESF-ers would provide feedback.  (wink)
- Personally, however, if it costs nearly what a second battery would, I'm not very interested in it.  As mentioned, the supplied 1800 maH battery runs the C1000 for a simply amazing amount of time ... I actually haven't recharged mine in four days and it's still *full*.  I've travelled, using it for scheduling and looking up numbers on the road, plus a bit of 'tooth link to see the weather at the destination, with a mix of room (min brightness) and outside (max brightness), and a little movie playback.
- I originally posted my interest just after getting Hiro, when I didn't know how long the battery would last.  Now that I've seen it goes and goes and goes, I'm just not as interested as I once was.  BUT I am still interested, if it's not too expensive, just because I can!  (wink)
- Thanks for your time...

Hi Leutz!

Shipping to Russia is 3 Euro! :)
Just sent one  to Maslovsky.

- I take it, Maslovsky, that you aren't interested in Cricket's external battery and charger?  I've been delaying selling this unit on eBay so you could get that if you wanted it, so timely communication may be desirable.  I will assume you do not need it and list Cricket forthwith.

Could anyone of buyers of this "custom" battery review it? How good/bad is this replacement battery? Can it be charged inside the zaurus (I don't have the battery charger) and without the risk of zaurus damage?

I'd appreciate such a review too. Don't really want to lay out that much for a battery without some idea if it will charge from the cradle!

brashley46, odklizec,

I've bought a 1800 mA battery last week (thanks Ludwig !).

I haven't made full tests yet but i can say that :
- my zaurus lasts at least 2 times more than before when i use wifi,
- it can be recharged into the Zaurus with AC adaptor like the normal battery.
I will test charging with USB as soon as possible.

All seems great

I'm interested! What should I do if I live in Peru?   I don't have a PayPal account since PayPal is not available for my country...
Any ideas? Are you still making this awesome batteries?

Hi!

Thx for the review.

I don't know, what's exactly the easyest way, to pay the battery (from peru).
Maybe, you could send the money by post? (I don't know, how save it is.)

Please write me a mail to lzabel@gmx.de

Been thinking about buying a spare battery for quite a while, saw this and realised it's quite a bargain.

I just ordered one for my Sl-C860. I'll post news when I've had a chance to test.

is this battery the same size as that of the 1600 mAh battery in my c860 or is it thinner (the present battery needs an extended cover increasing the size of the zaurus). I could really use a thinner battery than the one there is now.

shipping to netherlands also 6 euros ?

Hi tovarish

The 1800mAh-battery is as big as Sharps 950mAh-battery.
It is smaller then your 1700mAh battery.

5 Euro for Shipping.

If you are interested, please send a mail to lzabel@gmx.de

I don't really know, because I never had a 5500. :/

35 Euro is 42.33 USD.
