Yea GAIM is vulnerable to a couple of buffer overflow vulns. However since buffer overflow exploits require shellcode, I doubt that there is any point and click script kiddie exploit code available of course someone could prove me wrong. in which case its best to apply the patch supplied by the freebsd folks:
