Nes Emulator On Pdaxrom

Znester(NES emulator)

We tried infones,  but it was hard to enjoy some games.
So, we find znester source for SHARP ROM and compiled for pdaXrom.

It is also  comfortable on SL-C700.

Try it.  

There is some other tools for pdaXrom.

Is your OS  pdaXrom?

I compiled znester without the dependency of qtopia libs.
And you can download the ipk file and its patch.

Hi, I have tried your znes ipk but does not work on sl-5500. When I try to download the source code and patch I receive this message from your server:

The source of znester is not on my site, and I confirmed that the source of znester
is now unavailable as you said.

So I sent e-mail the webmaster of znester site about this matter.

After a few days, try again.

A difference between the 5500 and the SL-C models is the processor, if you used the sdk built for the SL-C (armv5tel) the binary might contain  optimizations for xscale that will not work on the 5500.

(it might be  a problem for all the contributed packages .....)

Yes, all software compiled for armv5tel for Intel XScale processors fail in armv4 for SL-5500 with StrongARM processor and need to be recompiled. This is because I try to download source code and compile with sl-5500 sdk.

The performance of znester is very good. It works on smooth with sound even shooting game and action game.
If you have the environment working on znester, try it.

Hi!
I added new options as below in znester.

-fs : Start in the fullscreen
-skip : Enable frame skip
-ns : No sound
-qv : Start in the QVGA mode on XWindow.

It is too fast with '-ns -skip'.

none of the new options (-ns -qv -fs) seem to work for me under rc11.
znester starts and exits.
without these options everything is fine
