Hi all,
another porting request:
DIA
a gtk+ based diagram creation program http://www.lysator.liu.se/~alla/dia/

thanks,

bio.

I second this....
with dia\'s scrolling and zoom capabilities, this would actually make the Z quite useful!
ya, it would help to have a mouse and a full screen, but dia ia AMAZING...

Done.

You\'ll need libart-lgpl, which is in the cacko-feed, but for your convenience I also put it in my feed.

Dia: http://www.pmf.neominds.net/feed/dia_0.92_armv5tel.ipk
Feed: http://www.pmf.neominds.net/feed/

Feel free to inform me of problems with this port (I will probably feel free to ignore the complaints, but maybe it is something simple that needs to be changed).

Also check out my port of icebreaker (game) in the same feed.

X11 ports that would make the C750 a killer machine?

For me it would be:

Ethereal + Libpcap
Minicom + Libncurses (or another serial-capable terminal client)
Konsole (or similar with scroll up/dn buffer)
a TFTP server of some kind

Well that\'s enough to be getting on with. If I can get a Dev environment sorted, I may have a go at these myself.

Hi all

If someone is interested I have a working version of ethereal for X11/pdax. I tested it on my 760 and it seems to be able to dump all packets that I tunnel over USB. To be honest the GUI is too small to be very useful but I guess it can be used as a last resort, tethereal is also included for console people. I don\'t have any ftp/web server so if you want it just tell me where to put it...

Version : Ethereal 0.10.0a

I ported it over a few days ago for Obscure^ in IRC.  I aplolgize for not posting about it, but I did place it in my feed on zaurus.spy.org.

Thanks for the work on Ethereal, guys!
My Z needs a reflash at the moment (trashed my Xwindows by trying to run extracted debian version of Xvnc, X can no longer find it\'s fonts),
but I\'ll give it a try as soon as it\'s done.

I did get xterm to work with a history buffer and scroll-up/dn, by using: xterm -rightbar -bg black -fg green -cr red -ms yellow +dc -sb -sl 1000
in /usr/share/applications/xterm.desktop - but the scroll functionality needs the use of the middle \'mouse\' button.

Version 2.1 of minicom worked (but only in monochrome), by linking libncurses.so.4 to the PdaXrom version: libncurses.so.5.3 in /lib

So; Roll on the SDK, and could someone take a look at the debian versions of xkbd and xstroke please?

Cheers,

r.s.r

ha, I can get dia on my pda... but I can\'t even get it compiled on my solaris at work.

Scott
ps: it needs gtk-config and gnome-config, gnome-config takes a lot..
it also requires a LOT of dependencies, etc. oh, and the gnone stuff won\'t compile on the sparc, so it\'s dead.

I\'m using the Qtopia ROM at the moment, but if the following was on the pdaXROM, then I might use it...

- XFig
- Some spreadsheet program
- VIM (GUI version), if it doesn\'t already exist

The Vim in the cacko-feed contains the GUI-version for GTK+-2.0.

I have compiled XFig. Package available at http://www.pmf.neominds.net/feed/xfig_3.2....a3_armv5tel.ipk.
