I tried searching, but couldn't find an answer, so...
I was wondering if anyone who has previous experience with a 3000 and now owns a 3100 can comment on whether the lag produced by the spinning microdrive in launching programs on the 3000 plagues the 3100.
Does the larger amount of flash on the 3100 take care of this, since presumably the ROM on the 3100 resides in flash?
BTW, I see prices on Price Japan inching below $700 (currently USD $694, although last weekend it was at $687).
