Invalid SSID character
« on: February 02, 2004, 03:53:10 am »
Hello, I own a SL-5500 w/ the original Sharp ROM in it (I don\'t have a flash card or I\'d go to OZ).  Anyhow, I am having a problem connecting to any wireless network with odd characters in it.  Such as a single quote (\') or a space even.   It gives me an error.  How exactly would you go about connecting to a network with spaces in the SSID?

Thanks!

Use the text editor to change the config files... on the SharpROM it\'s named wlan-ng.conf (or so).
