You mean it actually does 640x480 at 25 or 30 frames per second?  I didn't think the Z hardware could cope with this.

It works on my C750 if you add /opt/PalmTop/bin to your path. It'll play fullscreen with the
Code: [Select]
-vo w100 -fs options (no need for the xrandr -s 1 command), however the avi I have will only play with
Code: [Select]
-nosoundat decent framerates. Good for silent movies but not much else. I'll have to try different sound encoding to find something that works. If anyone has anything that works please let me know

Yes it's in my .mplayer/config file.

I found that the trick is to encode the avi @ 13 frames/sec and then it scales full screen. All of my old movies we encoded at 29 f/s and then used the xrandr trick to show "fullscreen". I'm surprized that there isn't much difference in quality. Bonus is that the files are much smaller

-nocachefixed it.

don't know if this is relevent here, but on my 6k I use the fb.modes & mplayer conf method described in the playing video on the 6k thread (in 6k general discussions). on the 6k at least it works well.
