Then I set USB to device SD, SD not recognized by XP.
Then I set USB to CF again adn the USB app hangs, no way to suspend nor to insert a CF card, nor to umount it, but the rest is usable(can launch any app), but the inability to suspend forces to hard reset the Z.

disconnect usb cable from Z before change usb mode.
for use usb storage with SD please update usbdconfig from feed - i uploaded new version there.

I would like to use kdepim in rc11. Only an old korganizer is in the feed. So I tried a more recent version and it complains about not finding libstdc++.so.5 -- so I tried symlinking so.5 which of course didn't work.

FYI - I've been trying a version of kphone, and it also complained about that
library.  I saw I had the file named "libstdcxx_5.0.5_armv5tel.ipk" from an earlier
feed, and I installed that which allows kphone to run.  Note that I am able to do
an echo test OK, but have never got the FWD server to hear my name and/or the
pound sign, but I don't know it's related to the C++ lib above.

In any case I would try installing libstdcxx_5.0.5_armv5tel.ipk from the earlier
feed, and see what happens...

Same here.  After installing SCIM and use gtk-query-immodules-2.0 > /etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules , it complains that libstdc++.so.5 is missing.
Looking at /usr/lib I see libstdc++.so.5 and libstdc++.so.5.0.7 have been changed to libstdc++.so.6 and libstdc++.so.6.0.3.
I am a very linux newbie and that's how far I can get.  

[UPDATE: After installing libstdcxx_5.0.5_armv5tel.ipk from the older feeds and run
gtk-query-immodules-2.0 > /etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules
again, SCIM works fine again.   ]

C3100 Feedback

-All partitions of the disk are not mounted at startup, like in the beta, just the first partition (even if the /mnt/ide1,2,3 exist)

-Internal drive is not present in the USB Disk Device list (hda3)

-Just a remark, but the /etc/fstab doesn't seems to be correct with this line, /dev/hda1   /mnt/cf   auto...
my cf is /dev/hdc (but the cf is working)

-xrandr doesn't seems to recognize xrandr -s 1

except this, the rom seems to be like the one on my 760, no more no less

for programs from the feed now, i know there are more problems

mplayer 1pre7 doesn't work on my C3100, he complains about a wrong CPU for compilation

other tests for programs will follow


ps is it possible to keep the rom updated like the old ones with ipkg update ipkg upgrade? (just a question before trying tonight )

OK, I upgraded usbdconfig and it fixes the SD bug. (you are so fast sashz !)
But I still have the same problem when switching ti CF.
USB cable disconnected and same result with a CF inserted or not.

Bug with the Aterm launcher in the panel:

Sometimes it opens a very small window with the title "Unnamed Window" (only visible after maximization). This window shows up always at the top right corner of an already existing window from another app. If I close this small window, the other window of the other app closes also. (I tried with Dillo already opened)
Sometimes nothing happens at all. (I tried with Abiword already opened)
Using the icon on the desktop always works.

Hi,

Installed rc11 on my C1k after using rc10 for a while.  Getting my system back to where it was I noticed that the nohup binary isn't there anymore?  I never really noticed if it was in rc10 or not, but a script I use (keychain for managing ssh keys) is complaining that nohup isn't there.

Can I mount the rc10 image on my linux box to copy it, or was nohup moved to another package?

Gnumeric bug while opening a Excel(not recent file).

The numbers displayed are totally wrong(always like 1E-300 or so)
Tried with gnumeric 1.4.2 on XP and Ubuntu with no problem.

hm. One little trouble (bug in pdaXrom) with C3100:
if you install packages to /mnt/ide - application doesn't appears anywhere (if you trying to start it from console - you will got error, e.g.: "Couldn't find mozila.run" - it can't locate installed app). If you create symlink ( ln -sf /mnt/ide /mnt/user ) - all will be o.k.
