The Best Movies Thread!
« on: October 08, 2005, 10:07:56 pm »
Hello guys, i just decided to post this small piece information about free movies off the internet.  The ones that people make out of the love and just for the fun of it.  These 5 russian or something guys made a star trek movie so good that i just had to post it here.

If you guys have link to movies which we can already play on the zaurus, post it here!  I would really like this thread to be "the definitive free movie thread."  what better way than to kick off this thread with...

star_wreck_in_the_pirkinning_subtitled

My personal favourite is Channel 101. Hundreds of 5 minute episodes of "tv shows" for free download, and some of the series which managed long runs are stone cold brilliant. Sci-fi (and other genre) parodies, music docudramas, musicals, melodrama, etc etc.

And most of them play on my C860 directly, especially the ones encoded in the last year or so. Bonus!

Be warned, there's significant amounts of profanity in a lot of them - even one (great!) show about a private investigator whose unfortunate last name is two swearwords joined together - but beyond that the content is generally not terribly offensive.

(Yacht Rock rocks!)

16GB SDHC! (a new one, after I sat on the old one and it went kaput)
