I had problems with the integrity of the zip file for c860 on the cacko 1.23 rom... files wouldn't extract (corrupted?)

I grabbed the files from a different site:
http://sharpromfeed.home.linuxtogo.org/dow.../cacko/rom1.23/

I am downloading the ones I am missing from that site and uploading them to my website.  The filesizes all look right of the ones I already put there.

I had to re-home my website and unfortunately I lost stuff in the process, sorry.

BTW, I would advise all zaurus owners to download and archive everything they come across, since if people drop out of the community they may also let their web hosting lapse and things can be lost forever.

No, the mirror is basically the same feed. I did some grep + awk magic on the Bryan's Packages file, put all links in a file and let wget download all links. Sorry Bryan! Actually, there is one file I added. It's mencoder, which although listed in the Packages file is missing in Bryan's feed.

he he, that's what I did!

$ wget http://bryandeluca.com/cacko/feed/Packages
$ grep Filename: Packages  | awk '{print $2}' > index.txt
$ ( while read X; do wget http://bryandeluca.com/cacko/feed/$X; done; ) < index.txt

I've added mencoder too from your feed. thanks!

I was thinking "it's a shame that cacko website has disappeared", but then I found a copy at The Wayback Machine

Is Cacko dead?
problem is that a lot of files were lost when the forums were down and/or moved ...
- What files were lost?  Not asking for a full rundown, just curious.  I've saved everything I've ever downloaded for either the previous SL5500 or the current C1000.  I've got about 8 GB of packages and quite a bit of source, including what I believe to be everything required to build Cacko, at least for the C1000.
- Hmmm.  Maybe not the source.  I'm looking in my Zaurus/Source directory and not seeing anything obviously Cacko.  I'd be annoyed if I just installed Ubuntu over the only copy of that I had.  (frown)  Ah well.  Machine wouldn't boot, anyway.
- Just wondering if any of that would be useful? (wayback notwithstanding)...
