Mplayer Stopped Opening Files
« on: February 05, 2006, 12:52:24 am »
I've been trying to get this fixed for 2 days.  After playing around with some packages I decided to reflash my SL-C3100.  Ever since mplayer will no longer open any movies (all of which worked fine before re-flash).

I've flashed twice now with same end result and am at wits end.  The only thing unique about my system is I partitioned the HD different then default factory setting, which works fine after I replace the rc.rofilesys with the modified one, but the first boot of course doesn't finish without having to "ctrl-c".

Thanks for the help in advance...

UPDATE:

Found out that if I use the file browser tab and double click video from there it opens and plays in Kino just fine.  But if I open Kino and then try to use 'file...open' it won't open anything.

With mine I (usually, not always) have to physically press the play button in the player after doing just this.
