Ambicom 3100 Rc12 Help
« on: December 22, 2005, 04:23:52 am »
I picked up a new 3100.  Managed to pdaxrom on it (121 root partition--curently)
reformatted /dev/hda3 ext3. yippie..it all looks nice, as expected.

I have 2 problems:

1).  I picked up an ambicom, under the impression that it had good support in 2.4.
I can't seem to get it to connect to my router (no security atm just to simplify matters) I installed the 3 hostap files, and prism2 seems to have loaded....  and it blinks...

I'd really appreciate help getting this thing online.

2). How do I set up my ext3 formatted hda3 to mount as /home?

just edit fstab??

thanks

1) maybe you could try to look into the messages returned by dmesg?
what cardctl ident says?

2) look into /etc/pcmcia/ide and ide.opts.
Why do you want to move /home to your hdd?
maybe you can just copy link the directories you want and make symlinks?
