There are a couple threads on 2.6 on the C1000 in this very forum. The problem is, since 2.6 development is moving at such a rapid pace for the Zaurus, the kernel iamges released even days ago are already out of date, and have bugs that have since been fixed. The best way is to build it yourself from an OE build tree. To get started read this:
