Pre-installed Packages
« on: February 08, 2006, 12:27:42 pm »
Hey all.  First off, I would like to say that I am back in business, after having a faulty motherboard, thinking all was lost, waiting 6 months, getting some great advice from trisoft and then sending my akita to conics I got my beautiful little machine back a week or so ago.  As soon as I got it I re-installed PDAXROM (the best ROM IMHO) and was set.  In my adventures I attempted to install enlightenment to /, not realizing there wasn't enough space.  I only installed one of the packages, it couldn't finish installing, but now I have no space and no record of the package in package manager.  I tried removing it via command line, which has worked in this situation before, however, no dice.  I am assuming, now, that it installed as some other name, other than the name of the ipkg.  Is there any way that I can get a list of the original packages that come stock installed in the new version of the rom?  Then I can just go down the list and find out what and where it installed.  Heck, is there a simpler way to find it?  Unfortunetly, I restarted the x11 enviro, losing the package manager log.

pleeease help.

If you want to see what files are in an ipk you can  do:
tar zxvf xxx.ipk
tar ztvf data.tar.gz

(or use winzip or something on a windows pc)
SLC-860 cacko / senao wifi
