Need Help Using 6gb Microdrive In Sl-c1000

Could some one tell me how to get this to work. I bought it and don't know what to do.

Can you describe the problem you are having as I also seem to have encountered probs with a Hitachi 4GB CF

Sorry i was not aware of issues such as that, but we need more info like joegoose suggests, perhaps it needs to be formatted or mounted (not sure what ROM you are using

I've got a retail Hitachi 6gb that I use in my Z's, including my 1000, just fine. The key word is "Retail". If it is an OEM then it probably won't work. I haven't reformatted it - I left it at stock, which I believe is Fat32.
